Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is officially in development with Walt Disney Pictures, but it lacks a release date or a finalized script. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed that the studio is planning a reboot of the franchise and that he has publicly stated he is actively trying to bring Johnny Depp back as Captain Jack Sparrow.

Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is finally in the making! The Disney franchise are talking about number 6, called Tales of the Code: Wedlocked, but there is still no mention of a release date. Everything about it remains a mystery but it is being said that Johnny Depp will return as Captain Jack Sparrow.
