Pirates of the Caribbean 6 Will Never Happen Without Johnny Depp!
20th November 2018
Rumour has it, Johnny Depp will not be starring in the Pirates of the Caribbean 6!
Who can imagine Pirates of the Caribbean without Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow?
Johnny Depp had a good run as Captain Jack Sparrow, but after five films in fifteen years, it looks like that run is over. Last year’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales grossed $794 million worldwide, which is the second-worst in the franchise’s history. While that number is still really good for nearly any other franchise, it’s believed that dwindling interest as well as Depp’s problems behind-the-scenes are the main factors for a possible reboot of the series.
During an interview with Digital Spy, producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed that he can’t see any incarnation of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise continuing without Johnny Depp. Here’s what he had to say about the matter.
“I just don’t see it [working on Pirates without Depp]. The secret to any successful franchise is picking talented people, and Johnny is absolutely key to the success of Pirates. He’s such a unique character, such an endearing character, and such an irreverent character all in one.”
We hope he is right and that The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise continues on into the future along with Johnny Depp!

The Movie will not go on if Johnny Depp is not in Pirates of the Carribbean, he is the most talented man to play as a pirate and to even consider replacing him with a female to me that’s sexist, and cruel Pirates of the Carribbean is Johnny Depps Movie and without him in the movie it will suck like Two and a half man, taking the main character out of a movie and replacing them with someone else doesn’t go to well. I thought Hollywood would know this by now.
Thank you for your post. I agree!
